Sila Inc (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the https://www.sila.global website (“Website”), and provides various business-to-business services to clients in a wide range of industries and customer segments (“Services”). We do not direct Services to individuals. We do not collect, maintain, or transfer the personal information of individuals outside of our organization. Sila Inc engages in the control and/or processing of personal information with respect to the employment process and related obligations.

Definitions
Personal Information (also referred to as “Personal Data”): Personal Information means data about a particular individual or household that identifies, relates to, describes, could be reasonably linked with, or could be used to identify that person or household (or from those and other information either in our possession or likely to come into our possession). If you are not a member of the Sila team, we do not collect or use your Personal Information.
If you are a member of the Sila team, we collect certain Personal Information during the course of employment in order to fulfill our legal obligations as an employer and to provide you the benefits of employment. That Personal Information is only used for employment purposes and only provided to third-party vendors who facilitate compensation, benefits, or other employment-related services.
When We May Disclose Your Information
Sila does not sell your information to any third party. We will only provide your personal data if it is necessary in order to provide you with the information you have requested. We may also disclose or share your information for the following purposes:

If you are a member of the Sila team, we may disclose employment-related information such as your name, address, date of birth, SSN, driver’s license number, compensation, and information essential for the provision of benefits.

All reasonable technical, organizational, and otherwise, measures are taken by Sila to protect Personal Information from being subject to accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss or alteration, disclosure without authorization, and any other unlawful actions taken against otherwise protected information. Moreover, Sila takes all judicious legal, technical, and organizational measures to ensure that all Personal Information is handled with a sufficient level of security. Furthermore, Sila takes all reasonable measures to protect Personal Information during transfers of said information to a third party.
Despite the security measures taken, Sila cannot guarantee the protection of the data you provide us.
Your Data Protection & Privacy Rights
Information about you and those we provide Services to is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We may, however, provide your personally identifiable information to third parties in the following instances:

Right to Access / Disclosure: The right to have access to your Personal Information upon simple request – that is, you may receive a copy of such data upon receipt of a verifiable request, along with other information related to the processing.
Disclosure of Direct Marketers: The right to have access upon simple request, and free of charge, the categories and names of addresses of third parties that have received Personal Information for direct marketing purposes. Request Access to Specified Information

We use third party API’s to help enhance the user experience in our applications. We use YouTube (Privacy Policy) and Google (Privacy Policy) Services to help enhance certain video features in our platform.
